Your Mom

Your Mom is all about bold, bright and playful designs using low tech, sustainable methods and materials. Every part of the process from designing through to creating the blocks and printing, is painstakingly done by hand.

I started out with the aim of making three hand printed, original patchwork quilts for the Brighton and Hove Artists Open Houses in May and my range has expanded from there.

I am inspired by things that offer a fresh perspective and a colourful alternative to grey conformity.

Fun fact:

My nine year old son, Arthur, inspired my brand name. He’s currently going through the ‘Your Mom’ phase, every time I ask him a question.

“What do you want for dinner, Art?”

“Your mom”

“What film do you fancy watching tonight?”

“Your mom”

Eventually, I told him I was gonna print Your Mom on a t-shirt for him and he pointed out that might actually be a great idea! And thus, @your_mom_prints was born
